Remote Access via VPN

How to Connect to your PC Remotely

The following instructions can be used to connect to your PC in the office from a remote location once the connection is setup by the IT Department. Make sure your PC in the office is switched ON.

  1. Connect to the Virtual Private Network. Click on the ^ symbol near the clock and then right click on the VPN icon and click Connect.


  1. Enter your VPN Username and password.


  1. After a few seconds (usually about 30 seconds), you will see that you have established a connection to the Office Network. Click on the VPN icon to see the status.



  1. Click on the Remote PC icon of your choice on the Desktop.


  1. Enter your credentials. NOTE: The username might be the domain\yourusername. Ie. contoso\joebloggs


  1. If you see the following window, click Yes. You will now be connected to your PC.
